Welcome to the Polaris Egyptian Youth Competition! It's a thrilling opportunity for young astronomers aged 15-18 and University st to delve into the wonders of astronomy and astrophysics. Join us on a celestial journey, showcase your skills, and unravel the mysteries of the universe. Let the stars be yours to explore!
This round consists of 5 astronomy and astrophysics related problems and lasts for 30 days. Each problem is worth 5 points, and the contestant must earn at least 15 points for high school students and 20 points for university students to qualify for the second round.
This is a 7-day round comprising 10 advanced astronomy and astrophysics problems. Each problem is worth 5 points, and the contestant must earn at least 25 points for high school students and 30 points for university students to advance to the finals.
This round lasts only a day and consists of 5 complicated advanced astronomy and astrophysics problems. There is no set number of points that a contestant must achieve in this round.
